Cookie Bars
These are a delicious Heath Toffee filled bar with plenty of chocolate chips added to it as well! These toppings can be as unique as you want to make them.
Equipment
- 3/4 cup
- 1/2 cup
- 1 cup
- 1 tbsp
- 1 tsp
- 1 frying pan small
- 1 medium sized bowl
- 1 rubber spatula
- 1 8 by 8 inch pan
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp sea salt
- chocolate chips
- heath bits
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a small frying pan over medium heat, brown your butter.
- In a medium sized bowl, add in your browned butter, both of the sugars, and mix.
- Add in eggs and vanilla. Mix until just barely combined.
- Add in your flour, cornstarch, and salt and mix until fully combined.
- Fold in your heath bits, chocolate chips, and any other toppings of your choice.
- Pour the mixture into and 8 by 8 inch pan and bake for around 35 minutes.
